Baran, Florian Anthony Age 86, of Chicago, McKinley Park area. Passed away on December 27, 2012. Survived by his loving wife, Carole (nee Wendt) Baran; also survived by his brother, John Baran; survived by many nephews and nieces namely Barans, Bendas, Chesloes, Ciszaks, Ciaciuchs, Dohertys, Foleys, many Gieruts, Leachs, Lechowicz, Mesarchik, Morajdas, Putlaks, Rzeszutkos, Wallis and Whites; many great-nephews and nieces with many more great-great-nephews and nieces; brother-in-law of David and Loretta Wendt and family, Richard and Joy Wendt and family, Ms. Janet O'Dell and Kirk O'Dell and Jill and Preston Rizzo. He served his country in the Army. Bailiff to #2 Chicago Judges, Sheriff of Cook County, Co owner of Castaway Travel Service. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3rd at Pomierski Funeral Home, 1059 W. 32nd St. in Chicago from 3:00-9:00pm. Mass will be held at St. Peter and Paul Church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4th with interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. (773)927-6424.

Aunt Carole, so sorry to learn we have lost Uncle Flory. We all have so many fond memories of him and the family get-togethers, especially Christmases gone by. Although he is no longer with us, he will be remembered with smiles and happy thoughts. Our deepest sympathies to you and the rest of the family.

Carole,
Uncle Flory was a special Uncle to me, He will be missed by all who knew him. Just know that he is in a better place. He was a good and loyal man and now is with his departed family.
I will miss seeing him when we came to town, he will always be in my prayers.
