Pine now has the company of Hubert Sumlin and Willie Big Eyes Smith. He played a whole lotta gigs with Willie, including while they were in Muddy Water's Band. And as elders, they traveled and were inseparable. Very close friends, Willie and Pine. And of course both were close to Hubert. And so many loved Pine.
Pine was given an artistic award from Pres.Clinton. I was lucky to travel with Pine to D.C. for the event and a performance of many artists. He was a show stealer!
