Even though it is so sad to say good-bye to Carlo, it is a bit of a blessing for him to not be suffering any more. He has always been such a strong person that I am sure it was very difficult for him to not be able to care for himself, be himself. At least now we can imagine him strong again. My prayers are with you, Windy.

You could see he took pride in the structure, management and organization of his restaurants. My prayers are with you Jimmy, Buddy and family.

Carlo was a good, endearing man, and though his time has passed on this earth, he certainly will not be forgotten. He was a deep thinker and loved nothing more than spending time with family over a good meal. Carlo was a great listener. He was someone who was always there to talk to, and could be counted on for support and sound advice. He was also one of the most generous men I've ever known . I will cherish many memories of Carlo, from the time he delivered our tiny new puppy (Pokey) in the palm of his giant hand, to our evenings playing Gin on the lani while enjoying a beautiful Summerland Key sunset. My sincere condolences to the Lorenzetti family, and especially, to my Aunt Windy. Carlo will be missed dearly.

Carlo
Our family will miss you. You were always there to help our family and friends come together for all of life's celebrations and transitions. I know you have touched many lives with your generous heart. You fed those in need on Thanksgiving day, and we had the honor of helping you. I also remember that you and my Uncle Dick joked about "eating your way across America" and writing a book about all the great restaurants. That adventure never happened; but I am glad you are now with your dear friend and you can resume your adventures. We will be in Key West in a few weeks and we will try a new restaurant in your honor..
just like we did when we were with you in Key West last time.
Our hearts are with your family.

A lovely man has passed. My husband & I met at Lorenzetti's, St. Patricks's Day...over 30 years ago. Over the years we celebrated many happy occasions at one or another of the restaurants. Plus, Carlo gave my daughter a job during her college summer breaks. We always enjoyed sharing stimulating conversation with him...he will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Lorenzetti family...Lorenzetti's was where I had my sweet 16 birthday party, my high school graduation party,my 18th birthday party, and 19 years ago, I was married right there in the banquet room...It was one of my first jobs bussing tables on weekends...I worked so hard just to hear Carlo smile and tell me, "Nice job, Gina" It was my brother's career, my father's favorite place, a home away from home...I know Carlo is enjoying a cocktail in heaven with my father now....God Bless Carlo and may the Lorenzetti family be blessed with peace during this difficult time....

I met Carlo when I was 14 years old, and I was his employee for approximately 18 years. Carlo was an extremely caring man who would feed the homeless on Thanksgiving, amongst other kind gestures. I have learned so much from him and have often used him as an example when describing "how a business should be run". For many years, he was like a father to me. I know he will be greatly missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his entire family and all his friends.
