Reed Jr., James T. of Chicago, age 81, at rest January 16, 2010, devoted husband of the late Winifred Isabel Pitts, loving father of James Raymond Reed III (Lorrie), Brian Rudolph Reed (Brenda), and the late Wayne Eugene Reed, cherished brother of Bruce Murff (Bernadette), dear grandfather of Tamara Lyn Reed, Brian Laurent Glover, Tashira Reed-Young, and Adriel James Reed, caring great-grandfather of Celeste Michelle Winifred Reed, Brian Glover, Lanaja Glover, Damien Glover, Dominic Sena, Laurent Glover, B. J. Glover, Dracarr Glover, and Jerome Young. Retired from United States Steel Corp. Visitation Friday, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Friday, 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Langley Avenue Church of God, 710 E. 62nd Street. Interment immediately following service. Arrangements by James Funeral Home, 8138 S. Cottage Grove, 773-783-5939
