Hess, James P. age 65, Veteran US Navy, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Clark), caring father of Dolph, Jill, Gina and Brian (Ellen), amazing "Papa" of Lauren, Brianna, Colin, Grey, Blain, Natalie and brand new baby Ella, dear brother of Almedia Cashin, Rise Cufia, and Yvonne Lammon, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews as well as many cherished friends. Funeral services 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at John Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th St., Palos Heights. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m. until time of service. Jimmy served proudly in the US Navy from 1961-1964, In 2004 he retired from the Burlington Northern-Sante Fe R.R. after 34 years. His retirement was spent creating many wonderful memories with family and friends who will miss him dearly. Information 708-361-4235.

It is a sad time for all of us our dear friend, Jimmy. Your loss tears at our hearts for we have many cherished and humorous memories of our times together.
