My heart goes out to my godfather Alex, Lisa and Alexis. Betty became my godmother when my real godmother did not stay in touch. She gave me a lot of love and the most wonderful gifts! I know that she was also a dear friend to my father, Nick. I will miss her very much.

Dear Uncle Al, Lisa, Lexi (and families),
Oh boy, where to begin...so so many unbelievable memories of my childhood are with your family. I guess I will just mention one to share. How many St. Anthony football games did our moms lend a hand in making it a blast for us? One of my favorites is doing donuts in St. Anthony's Church parking lot after a victory and your mom laying on the horn. I am so happy to have shared living on the same block (116th Street) with you and the memories made during that brief time of our lives.
Deepest Sympathy and all my Love,

My sympathy for your family- my favorite memory of Betty was when I had chicken pox on Halloween (I was about 6)and she was dressed up as a witch and came to my house and gave me candy. She will be missed by many.

I will miss this dear lady! I remember Ben & Mark as babies. We would play in each other's yards and pools. She would help me with my kids as she was taking care of her grandkids. Love to you all!

My deepest sympathy to Alex, Lisa, Alexis and families. I have great memories of 'Aunty Bet', not the least of which is the time she took the whole 117th Street gang skiing in western Illinois, if you can imagine that. I will never forget her and her kindness to the neighborhood kids and teenagers. Love to all.

My heart aches and is deeply sadden by the loss of Betty, my second Mom, for so many wonderful years. To Alex, Lisa, Alexis, whom I grew up with in Roseland for so many wonderful years, I am deeply sorry for your loss of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Betty would always enjoy life and made every day a special occasion. When they lived next store to me on 116th Street, she always greeted me with a hug and kiss. Her passing is a tremendous loss to all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. My deepest love extends to the entire family. The woman with flare and attitude will be sorely missed. I am glad to have had the opportunity a couple years back to have seen you once again. Love you always.
