I am very sorry for your loss. I am very grateful for the memories. Mr. Barshop was my Science teacher at Gray, class of 82. He was a fun teacher and since then I've never been afraid of a snake (the harmless kind). Thanks for the memories.

Good fences make good neighbors, and while our fence is not in very good repair, we appreciated Carl's smile, loved to see him tooling around on his tricycle, and generally thought of him as a very kind person. We are sorry for your loss.

Dear Linda and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He had a very special place in my heart ever since he saved Caitlin from drowning in the pool. When I shared the sad news, she said, "Oh no, my hero." He was a good man who will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Family of Carl Barshop:
I knew Carl back in the 60s. He was good friends with my brother (Ken Metz) and we all spent many happy hours together. He sold me his old car, my first car, an orchid pink Plymouth Barracuda. What a beauty. You never saw another one of those, and there never was another Carl. He was so quick-witted, kind and fun, we never wanted him to leave. But now he is gone, and I know you will all miss him terribly. Please take comfort in you fond memories of Carl. You were all so lucky to have had him in you life.
With deepest condolences,
