Bill Gray Obituary

Gray, Bill On Thursday, June 14, 2018, Bill Gray passed away after battling cancer at the age of 41. Bill will be remembered as "Superdad" by his son Nolan, "Ayapi" by his loving wife Joanne Boufis, an amazing son by his mother Diane Schaul (James) and father William J. Gray Jr. (Lena), an amazing son-in-law by Peter and Georgia Boufis, best brother to his sister Marina Lee Bakopoulos (Yanni) and best brother-in-law to Eli Boufis and Nicole Liadis, and grandson of Angeline Przybyszewski.
Bill completed a bachelor's degree and attended Loyola University Chicago and NIU. He was an employee of United Airlines as a Sr. Manager of I.T. and enjoyed volleyball, golf, entrepreneurial endeavors and building software. Fun times for him included garage nights, playing spades, steak houses on Sundays for date nights with his wife and traveling to Greece. He was united in marriage to Joanne Boufis on May 19, 2018.
Visitation for the Boufis family and friends of Bill will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 from 3-9 p.m at Salernos's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle 60172. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made in care of him to The Glenview Women Of Today (501c3), in which disbursement will be made to Nolan's college fund and Bill's other favorite causes.
Visitation for the Gray family and friends of Bill will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 3-9 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle 60172. In lieu of flowers, a 529 college fund for Nolan Gray has been established.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago 60614. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery. Luncheon locations will be announced after the service.
